Matrix Income & Growth VCT
Launched in July 2004, Matrix Income & Growth (MIG) VCT is managed by Matrix Private Equity Partners. The fund invests in a portfolio of companies that are profitable, cash generative and have solid growth prospects. MIG VCT raised £22 million and closed in June 2005.
Matrix Income & Growth 2 VCT
Matrix Income & Growth 2 (MIG 2) VCT is a £20 million fund investing in companies that are profitable, cash generative and have solid growth prospects. The fund, launched in May 2000, was initially named the Matrix Venture Fund VCT with a focus on fast growing companies in the TMT sectors. The name-change and variation in investment strategy brings the fund in line with the four other VCT funds currently managed by Matrix.
Matrix Income & Growth 3 VCT
Launched in September 2005, Matrix Income & Growth 3 (MIG 3) VCT is managed by Matrix Private Equity Partners. The £20 million fund invests in a portfolio of companies that are profitable, cash generative and have solid growth prospects.
Matrix Income & Growth 4 VCT
Matrix Income & Growth 4 (MIG 4) VCT is a £25 million fund managed by Matrix Private Equity Partners. Originally launched in 1999 as a multi-manager VCT, the fund invests in a portfolio of companies that are profitable, cash generative and have solid growth prospects. Matrix was appointed sole manager in 2006.
The Income & Growth VCT
The Income & Growth (I & G) VCT is a £45 million fund managed by Matrix Private Equity Partners. Originally launched in 2000 as a multi-manager VCT, the fund invests in a portfolio of companies that are profitable, cash generative and have solid growth prospects. Matrix was appointed sole manager in 2008.
The Baring English Growth Fund
Established to finance small to medium sized well-managed companies with growth potential, the Baring English Growth Fund was first conceived in 1997 and is a collaboration between Matrix, Baring Private Equity Partners, and the European Investment Bank. This £66 million fund is advised by Matrix and two other venture capital firms. Matrix directly handles all investments in companies based in Southern England, whilst potential investments in companies based in the North and Midlands are usually referred to colleagues in associate firms based more locally in offices in Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester.
